BTC (Beyond the Class), our annual youth magazine, recognises and celebrates young achievers
This is achieved by capturing a diverse number of stories of young people in Barnet who are positively using their talents and shortlist 20 of them to feature in the magazine. We are proud to champion this magazine as it encourages the public to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our youth, thus installing belief into our future leaders.
The first ever magazine was launched in December 2011 with support from O2 think Big in June. We were then able to get backing from Barnet Homes, CommUNITY Barnet, Barnet Council and Volunteer Centre Barnet. Nominations forms were sent out to the public, a team of young people then assess the applications and decide on the 20 young achievers that feature in the magazine.
