Nominations Now Closed for Beyond the Class 2016!

The search is on for 20 outstanding young people from the Borough of Barnet to feature in the 2016 Beyond the class (BTC) young achievers magazine. We want to celebrate young people who are excelling in areas such as community involvement, sports, academics, business, music, politics and more!

Pioneered by Nutmeg Community, BTC is an annual magazine which showcases and champions outstanding young achievers. Our vision is to capture a diverse number of stories to raise awareness of the fantastic contribution young people make. BTC 2016 is supported by Hammerson PLC, Barnet Council, The Barnet Group, Tudor Trust and Trusthouse charitable foundation.

Minimum Criteria for nomination

1.Young person nominated (nominee) must be aged between 16 – 25

2.Nominee must be living, studying or working in Borough of Barnet 

3.A young person may nominate themselves

4.Application must state which category the young person has been nominated for and illustrate achievement

5.You can nominate more than one person but only submit one application form per nomination

Deadline for nominations is Monday 29 February 2016. Nominations will be assessed by a judging panel, the final 20 young people shortlisted to feature in the magazine will notified early March and the magazine will be published early April 2016. Click here to nominate yourself or someone you know
